Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how iQLY Global Ltd dba iQLY uses cookies and similar technologies on www.iqly.net (the "Platform"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Plain-English summary: We use a small number of cookies. Some are essential for the Platform to work (you cannot turn these off). Others help us understand how the Platform is used and improve it. We ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.
WHAT ARE COOKIES
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner.
We also use similar technologies, including local storage and pixels, which work in similar ways. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of these technologies.
CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE USE
We classify the cookies we use into four categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Platform to work. They include cookies that keep you logged in, remember items in a session, and protect against fraud and security threats. You cannot turn these off, but you can block all cookies in your browser settings (this will stop the Platform from working properly). - Functional cookies
These help the Platform remember your preferences (such as language, region, and consent choices) so you do not have to re-enter them each visit. - Analytics cookies
These help us understand how people use the Platform — which pages are visited, how long people stay, where they come from — so we can improve it. We use these only with your consent. - Marketing cookies
These are used to deliver relevant content and to measure the effectiveness of any advertising or campaign-promotion activity we run. We use these only with your consent. - The cookies we currently use

Sentry is operational rather than analytical. It captures error and performance data needed to keep the Platform reliable. We treat it as strictly necessary, but we anonymise where possible and do not use it for tracking individual users across sites.
LAWFUL BASIS
- Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the General Application and Implementation Directive 2025, we rely on the following lawful bases for setting cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies: legitimate interest — the Platform cannot function without them.
- Functional, analytics, and marketing cookies: your consent, given through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time.
HOW YOU CAN MANAGE COOKIES
- Our cookie banner
When you first visit the Platform, we show a cookie banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose your own preferences by category. You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer of the Platform. - Browser settings
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can typically:- See what cookies are stored and delete them.
- Block all cookies, or block cookies from specific sites.
- Block third-party cookies.
- Be warned before a cookie is set.
Blocking essential cookies will prevent parts of the Platform from working. Help pages for the most common browsers are available at:
- Chrome: support.google.com/chrome
- Firefox: support.mozilla.org
- Safari: support.apple.com
- Edge: support.microsoft.com
- Mobile device settings
You can also manage tracking through your mobile device settings. On iOS, see Settings → Privacy & Security. On Android, see Settings → Privacy.
THIRD-PARTY COOKIES AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFERS
Some of our cookie providers are based outside Nigeria — primarily in the United States, the European Union, and on global edge networks. When you accept analytics or marketing cookies, you also consent to the related transfer of data to these providers. See our Privacy Policy for details on the safeguards that apply to cross-border transfers.
"DO NOT TRACK" SIGNALS
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal to websites. There is no agreed industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal. We respect your choices through our cookie banner, which provides a more granular and reliable way to express your preferences than the Do Not Track signal alone.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
